Sticky Fiends is a stick figure party game from Out of MEY Mind, with local multiplayer, couch co-op, and online multiplayer. Battle in destructible arenas, defend a fortress together, hunt for treasure, or take your rivalry out to sea.

With 15 game modes, you can go from Deathmatch to pirate battles in the same game night. Build your own arenas in the level editor, test them with bots, and share them using a level code. And once you've finally agreed on a favorite map, there are plenty more to argue about.

15 Game Modes: Team Up or Face Off

Sticky Fiends brings together seven main modes and eight pirate modes. Sometimes it's every Fiend for themselves. Sometimes you only make it through together. Pick your allies. See how long that lasts.

Horde mode

Horde: Hold the Fort Together

Defend your fortress against 20 waves of enemies in this co-op survival mode. Stock up on weapons and traps during the buying phases, protect the energy core, and help each other when things get messy. You win or lose as a team.

  • 20Waves
  • CO-OPCouch Co-op
Deathmatch mode

Deathmatch: Last Fiend Standing

It's every player for themselves in Deathmatch. The last survivor wins the round. Across 450 levels, you'll face weapons, traps, and platforms that can be blasted apart. That hiding spot looks pretty safe. For now.

  • 450Levels
  • VSFree-for-all
Race mode

Race: Try to Keep Up

Jump obstacles and dodge traps as the screen scrolls faster and faster. With 84 courses across four difficulty levels, there's plenty to keep you on your toes. Hesitate too long and the edge of the screen will catch up with you.

  • 84Courses
  • 4Difficulty levels

Capture the Flag

Steal the opposing team's flag and bring it back to your base. The first team to make three captures wins. Across 42 maps, there's a job for the flag runner and the friend who refuses to leave the base unguarded.

King of the Hill

Score points while you're the only player in the marked zone. Every 20 seconds, the zone moves. Hold your ground. Just don't get too attached to it.

Siege

One defender builds a fortress. Three attackers try to break through. Roles switch each round, so everyone gets a chance to find out just how brilliant their defenses really are.

Local Multiplayer: Up to 4 Players on One Screen

Sticky Fiends supports up to four local players on one device. Take on enemies together in couch co-op, face off against each other, or split into teams. You only need one copy for your local group.

Drop In, Drop Out

Ready to join? Use your controller to take over a bot's slot. Need to leave? A bot takes your place, so everyone else can keep playing.

Playing Solo? Bring the Bots

You don't need a full couch to start a game. Bots fill empty slots and offer three difficulty settings. Play on your own or round out a smaller group.

Controller, keyboard and mouse

Sticky Fiends supports controllers as well as keyboard and mouse. Local multiplayer works offline. Pick your controls, choose a mode, and get stuck in.

Game Night with Friends and Family

Defend a fortress together or fight over the last platform. Choose the kind of game night your group enjoys. If you're playing with children, bear in mind that Sticky Fiends features cartoon combat and weapons. There's no blood; splashes match the characters' colors. The developer suggests ages eight and up, but this is not an official age rating.

618 Levels Across 21 Worlds: Pick Your Next Battleground

Sticky Fiends includes 618 levels across 21 themed worlds: 450 Deathmatch levels, 84 race courses, and 84 team maps. From cherry blossoms to cyberpunk. From snowy mountains to the Caribbean.

Take your rematch to the Himalayas, fight beneath the blossoms, or settle the score under neon lights. Choose a favorite world, build a map playlist, or let the game pick for you.

Drill through dark rock, collect gems, and make it back with your haul in Treasure Cave. You can only see what's inside your circle of light. Just beyond it could be another gem. Or lava.

Pirate Battles for Up to 4 Players: All Hands on Deck

The pirate side of Sticky Fiends has eight game modes. Sink ships, steal treasure, fend off enemies together, or captain a ship of your own. If your group is looking for a multiplayer pirate game, there's room here for teamwork and a little betrayal.

In Sticky Roger, every player commands their own ship. Trade, raid ships and islands, and upgrade your vessel. Up to four local captains share one sea. Sharing the gold is another matter.

Destructible Arenas, 75 Weapons, and Plenty of Bad Ideas

With 75 weapons and gadgets across 11 categories, even a good plan can go spectacularly wrong. Melee weapons, throwables, energy weapons, and special gadgets give you different ways to win the next round.

Blast the Arena Apart. Yes, All of It.

Sticky Fiends features fully destructible arenas. Shoot out platforms, blast through walls, and tear away your opponents' cover. Every chunk you destroy changes the battlefield and forces everyone to find a new way through. One moment you've got the perfect vantage point. The next, you've got nothing under your feet.

Before each match, you can enable or disable weapons individually. Try the full arsenal or put together your own selection. At least you can agree on the rules before it all kicks off.

Character Customization: Make Your Fiend Your Own

Mix and match costume pieces from collections including pirates, knights, cowboys, and party outfits. Save your look and earn experience to unlock more pieces.

Your Fiend's face changes with the action, too. Everyone can see how pleased you are with that win. And how you feel about the next hit.

Level Editor: Build, Test, and Share Your Own Maps

The Sticky Fiends level editor lets you create custom maps for the stick figure modes. Test them with bots, save your work, make changes, and share them using a level code. From the first platform to the last devious trap, the layout is yours.

Out of MEY Mind: The Developer Behind Sticky Fiends

I make Sticky Fiends under the name Out of MEY Mind. It started while playing games with my two sons. We wanted something new for our evenings together, so I started making it.

How Sticky Fiends Started

My boys and I had played our favorite game so much that we knew it inside out. I wanted to make something of our own that could surprise us again.

Once the first fights felt good, the questions started. Why not add more weapons? What if we could defend a fortress together? And why should we need a full group to play? That led to more modes, and to bots that could fill the empty spots.

The ideas took us from arenas into dark caves and onto pirate ships. The characters got costumes and faces that could show delight or frustration. The level editor gave us a way to try out the next ridiculous idea ourselves.

Sticky Fiends also has a bit of my love for '80s, '90s, and 2000s pop culture, with a soundtrack that draws on rock and nu-metal. But the reason I started is much simpler: my boys and I laugh a lot when we play. I wanted to make something that gives other people those evenings, too.

Why “Out of MEY Mind”?

Mey is a nickname from my school days. It started with MELfoot, a Bigfoot-inspired character for the school newspaper. MELfoot became Mel, and Mel became Mey.

Out of MEY Mind is home to the worlds and characters in my head. The furry little creature in the logo is called Plüschi. Sticky Fiends is one of those worlds. You get to be the ones causing trouble in it.

For your game collection

What does Sticky Fiends offer fans of Stick Fight: The Game?

Stick Fight: The Game makes a lot out of physics-driven stick figure battles: a fight with friends, an unexpected twist, and an immediate demand for a rematch. If that's your kind of evening, Sticky Fiends gives your group other adventures to share. Hold a fortress together in Horde, drill through dark treasure caves, or take your rivalry aboard pirate ships. Bots fill empty slots, and you can build and share custom maps using level codes. It's another game for the collection when the same group wants to try something different together.

Is Sticky Fiends a good alternative to Boomerang Fu for game night?

Boomerang Fu turns boomerangs, stackable power-ups, and a cast of food characters into wonderfully chaotic couch battles. If you love gathering around one screen, Sticky Fiends offers other ways to spend the evening with up to four players. Follow a Deathmatch with a race, pick teams for Capture the Flag, or defend a fortress together against enemy waves. Its 75 weapons and gadgets bring different possibilities to the fights. It could be a good addition to your rotation when you feel like switching between friendly rivalry and working together.

What might Party Animals fans enjoy about Sticky Fiends?

Party Animals gets plenty of charm from its animal characters and physics-driven scuffles. Just wrestling with your friends can be half the fun. Sticky Fiends shares that appetite for chaos, with expressive stick figures and its own settings. Its arena modes put you on a 2D playing field with weapons, gadgets, and destructible surroundings. Then you can head into a treasure cave or each captain your own ship in Sticky Roger. If your group enjoys the animal brawls and also wants to try races, treasure hunts, and naval battles, there's more here to explore together.

What can Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fans discover in Sticky Fiends?

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate brings familiar video game characters together for battles where a perfectly timed launch can send a rival off the stage. If you enjoy that face-to-face competition, Sticky Fiends gives you other objectives to fight over: steal flags, hold a moving zone, or team up as three attackers against a fourth player's fortress. Afterward, you can all work together against enemy waves in Horde. It's an addition to the collection for groups who enjoy stage battles and want to try changing roles and shared objectives, too.

Why add Sticky Fiends to a collection that includes Gang Beasts?

Gang Beasts thrives on its floppy characters and the absurd situations that come from grabbing, shoving, and throwing each other around hazardous places. If those scuffles are a favorite with your friends, the unpredictable fights in Sticky Fiends might appeal to you, too. Its arena modes bring stick figures, weapons, gadgets, and destructible platforms into the mix. You can also build your own arenas in the level editor, try them with bots, and share them using a level code. That gives game night a creative twist: dream up a challenge, then find out who can survive it.

What does Sticky Fiends offer fans of the Worms games?

Outrageous weapons, destructible landscapes, and the moment a carefully laid plan disappears into a crater: that's a big part of the appeal of classic Worms games. If you love that combination, Sticky Fiends could earn a spot in your collection. Here, too, you can use all kinds of weapons to blast the arenas apart. Platforms vanish, walls crumble, and that supposedly safe hiding spot doesn't survive the next hit. In turn-based games such as Worms W.M.D, you plan your next move; in Sticky Fiends' arenas, everyone fights at once in real time. It gives that shared love of destruction and unexpected outcomes a different pace for game night.

The games mentioned here are separate titles from their respective creators and publishers. These comparisons are for reference and do not imply any official affiliation or endorsement.
